MEET THE TEAM
CaSS employs Fiona Walton as a part-time (20 hours a week during term time) schools links adviser and Jacqueline Ryan as a part-time administrator. CaSS also has a management group of volunteer members drawn from several churches around Sheffield who have overall responsibility for the work. The role of Chair of Trustees is currently vacant.
Fiona Walton
Schools Links Advisor
Fiona started working (part-time) as Schools Links Advisor for CaSS in September 2011 when Linda Chambers retired after 27 years. She is really excited about continuing her work and extending it in new directions. Fiona grew up in Sheffield and attended school in the city.
Fiona became a Christian aged 12 and her faith grew as she became a member of a local church that gave young people opportunities to lead and serve. She enjoyed studying Biblical Studies at Sheffield University and went on to get an MA in Theology from Durham University. After studying for a PGCE (Primary) at Durham University she taught RE for 2 years in a large Durham comprehensive. Fiona now teaches RE (part-time) to 4 – 11 years olds. She can’t believe that she has been teaching for more than 36 years!

Fiona attends STC Sheffield and loves being mum to her three children and to her chocolate Labrador.
